A antique gold snake choker that was initially valued between £300 to £400, commanded an astonishing £2,800 at Plymouth Auction Rooms. ![]()
We adore the intricate details of this ornate serpent necklace with a heart-shaped charm dangling delicately from it's mouth. ![]()

Snake jewellery gained popularity in the Victorian era after Prince Albert proposed to Queen Victoria with an engagement ring that was made in the likeness of a snake with an emerald set head. It has been seen most recently in collections by Gucci, and of course iconically, the Bulgari Serpenti. ![]()
