A ‘famille-rose’ blue ground scraffiato wall vase

A ‘famille-rose’ blue ground scraffiato wall vase, 19th century, the ovoid body with a landscape panel on a stepped base and below a flared neck flanked by moulded guei dragon handles, base with apocryphal four character seal mark of Qianlong in iron-red (pieces to neck restuck), 21.5cm. A similar wall vase, but with a puce scraffiato ground and a calligraphic panel, also dated to the 19th century was sold at Christies, 6th March 2003, lot 335 for £3,290.
