A jade carving of a Chimera and pony group, 17th-19th century. The chimera carved reclining with its head turning over its back, a pony reclining at its side, both tails curled and tucked underneath, the mottled stone with russet and celadon tones and darker striations, fitted wood stand, 12cm. Condition: chimera eyes appear to have been reworked.
Estimate: £2,000 - £2,500 + fees
