An ornate 18ct yellow gold mourning ring with a central circular panel with black enamel star & set with a seed pearl, the outside of the shank is ornately engraved with a scroll design and plaited hair has been interwoven inside the shank with six visible shaped viewing panels, inside the ring has been engraved 'Jan 28th 1881', diameter of the central circular panel is 8.8mm, the pearl is approx. 2.8mm, 3.63gm, size M.
