Paul Robinson, oil on board 'Crab Boats and Cornets' 29cm x 40cm, signed, framed.
Paul Robinson was born in Penrith, Cumbria in 1959, and later studied Fine Art at Carlisle College of Art. After moving to London he began a successful career as a freelance illustrator, whilst exhibiting his paintings at a well-known London gallery.
Returning full time to painting, he developed his distinct style, inspired by an endless fascination with his London subjects and architecture. He moved to Norfolk in 1999, bringing a contrast to the City with it's high rise office blocks to the Norfolk landscape consisting of an immeasurable expanse of sea and sky. But it is always the people who are key to his work.
His work is included in private, corporate and public collections worldwide. He is represented by many contemporary fine art galleries around the south of England including the Brian Sinfield Gallery in Burford and Island Fine Art in Chichester. This work has been consigned directly from the artist.
