Postage & Shipping

Here at Plymouth Auction Rooms we offer our own in-house postage and packing service for small, non-breakable lots. Our minimum price is £20 for small lots and will be higher for larger parcels. But to get a more accurate quote please contact the team by emailing info@plymouthauctions.co.uk or calling 01752 254740.

All UK packages are sent Royal Mail Special Delivery, and all International packages are sent Royal Mail Tracked & Signed.

When to expect your items

Our small team work hard to answer all postage queries quickly, and our rates are very competitive. It may take between 5-10 working days before we can dispatch your items, so please bear with us.

If you require a faster turnaround, please contact us and we will see what we can do to help you.

If the items you have brought are not suitable for our in-house packing team (including large items, large joblots, pictures, etc.), we recommend using these couriers. We work closely with these firms and will ensure a smooth handover of your items.

You are also more than welcome to arrange your own courier, but please let us know if you have decided to do this so we know who to hand over your items to.

Insurance and Claims

We will not be held responsible for any damaged or broken items, but where possible we will assist in making claims through Royal Mail.

For fragile items (ceramics, china, glass, etc.) we recommend one of the courier companies we work with, who specialise in packing and delivering such items.
