Robert Lenkiewicz (1941-2002) a large major work, oil on canvas 'Fred the Dog', Project 1 Vagrancy Revisited, in a heavy black frame, signed and inscribed to the reverse 'Project' Provenance; sold at Plymouth Auction Rooms, 18th September 2013, lot 100, previously purchased directly from the artist in 2002, it featured in a TV programme in which comedian Billy Connolly sat for Lenkiewicz, and could be seen propped up against a wall in the artist's studio as he worked, size approx 89cm x 214cm, overall size including frame 129cm x 251cm.

Robert Lenkiewicz (1941-2002) 'The Painter with Patti, Aristotle and Phyllis Theme' oil on canvas, 66" x 54", housed in a gilt framed. This painting was part of the Relationship Series painted around 1990, Project 18 Painter with Women, Observations on the Theme of the 'Double; it was exhibited in 1994 at the Birmingham ICC Exhibition and is featured in the exhibition catalogue on page 3. The exhibiting was organised by the Halcyon Gallery.

"It’s not just the faces, but the whole of Beryl’s paintings that have a ‘look’. She fills them with bold, clear designs that immediately cheer you up. Her description of the tango bar is very telling. She was uncomfortable when the bar was empty, except for a frenzied couple dancing, but when many more customers arrived she was happier, stopped laughing nervously, and ‘everything settled down’... When you look closely at her compositions you can see that everything in them, every movement, mass, look and shape is balanced or echoed, one by another, until the whole picture seems to dance together."
