Established in 1992, Plymouth Auction Rooms is one of the West Country's leading independent auction houses, specialising in jewellery, watches, art and antiques.
For more than 30 years, we have had the privilege of valuing and selling people's treasured possessions, from family heirlooms and individual pieces of jewellery to important collections and works of art.
Since opening our doors in 1992, we have built our reputation on professional expertise, personal service and the trust of generations of clients.
We understand that every object has a story. Whether you are selling a lifelong collection, dealing with a family estate or simply seeking advice about something you own, our experienced team is here to offer straightforward guidance and a warm welcome.
Visitors often tell us how much they enjoy the atmosphere of our saleroom. From viewing an auction to attending a valuation or experiencing the excitement of bidding, we believe visiting an auction house should be both interesting and enjoyable.
We are also proud of our involvement in the local community. Among our many charitable auctions was the St Luke's Hospice Elmer's Big Parade, which raised an extraordinary £323,750 for the hospice.
Today, our specialist departments include fine jewellery, watches, art, antiques and collectables. Our auctions attract bidders from across the UK and around the world, combining traditional auctioneering with professional photography, online bidding and international marketing.
Yet despite our international reach, we have never lost sight of what matters most – people.
We remain an independent auction house, proud of our Plymouth roots and the relationships we have built with clients over more than three decades.
