Modern & Contemporary Art

Plymouth Auction Rooms is a leading West Country auction house for modern and contemporary art, with a longstanding reputation for selling works by established British artists and emerging local talent.

Our popular evening art auctions regularly feature paintings, drawings and prints by Beryl Cook, Robert Lenkiewicz and Fred Yates, alongside works by other notable British artists.

We have a particular appreciation for the artistic heritage of Plymouth and the South West, and are proud to have achieved excellent auction results for works by these much-loved artists.

As appointed auctioneers for Brian Pollard, we also work directly with contemporary artists, including members of the Plymouth Colour Collective, Arth Lawr, Lou Coultas, Sean Hayden, Lee Woods, Nicholas Borden and Gordon Barker.

Our longstanding association with the Lenkiewicz Foundation further reflects our commitment to the region's artistic heritage.

If you are considering selling a painting, drawing or print, we would be delighted to provide a free, confidential auction valuation.
