The team at Plymouth Auction Rooms will be on the road this Monday as they host their popular monthly Valuation Day in Yealmpton.
Led by auctioneer Paul Keen, the experienced team will be offering free, no-obligation valuations on a wide range of items, including silver, art, jewellery, watches and collectables.
The event has become a firm favourite with South Hams residents, thanks to its relaxed setting, easy parking and warm welcome. Visitors can bring along items for expert advice while enjoying a friendly and informal atmosphere.
Recent Valuation Days have uncovered some impressive finds. Last month, a rare bronze attributed to Austrian sculptor Franz Xaver Bergman, consigned at the event, later sold for £2,000. On the same day, a collection of gold items achieved a combined hammer total of over £13,000.
The team say the events are a great opportunity for people to discover the value of items they may have at home, with no appointment necessary.
Valuations will take place from 10am to 1pm in the function room at the Rose and Crown, Yealmpton.
