Have your Watch Valued in ‘Time’ for November Auction
Press Release. As we approach November the team at Plymouth Auction Rooms are preparing for one of their most popular sales of the year. The November sale of fine watches and jewellery always attracts plenty of interest from collectors and for those looking for something special for Christmas. With demands for watches continuing to hold up there is expected to be plenty of interest in a ladies Rolex watch already consigned for the auction. Dating from 1994 but recently serviced, the Oyster Perpetual Datejust with a bi-metal jubilee bracelet is enhanced with a diamond dot dial and in ready to wear condition is likely to attract bids around the £3,000 mark.
This sale is perfect timing for those wishing to buy but also wish to sell. Cataloguing is underway but entries will be accepted until 14th November. A valuation is always essential for such valuable items and on Monday, 31st October auctioneers are holding a special valuation day for both jewellery and watches. On board will be Richard Sheppard bringing over 30 years’ experience in watch appraisal. He will be joined by in house jewellery specialist Tracey Still who can value and discuss both modern and antique jewellery.
Only last month a pretty ladies Rolex and diamond watch sold for over £5,000 to an online bidder from London whilst there was a flurry of bids for rare Omega watches at the same sale.
The valuation event runs from 9am to 4pm, at the saleroom.
