Browsing through the catalogue of this month's jewellery auction in Plymouth, one can't help being dazzled by some of the beautiful lots of jewellery and watches. Auctioneer Paul Keen says "we are delighted to present another great entry of fine lots at auction. There are watches for the collector, and fabulous jewellery for that special occasion or investment".
Amongst the 200 lot sale is Lot 108, a lovely engagement ring. The certified VVS2 diamond has a good colour and weighs just over one carat, and is size R/S. It comes with a guide price of £2,500 to £3,000. More unusual is Lot 99, an Art Deco coral and onyx bracelet. Set with a decorative diamond clasp, it is a real eye catcher for around £500.
Diamond line bracelets have been selling well at these salerooms, and Lot 71 is expected to attract much interest. It is made in 18ct white gold and set with approximately 5 carats of brilliant round cut diamonds. But don't worry if you miss out as there is another similar one on offer.
Lot 80 is one of the headline lots. An impressive 18ct white and yellow gold ring set with a square cut emerald of approximately 4.95 carats, and surrounded by a mixture of round brilliant cut and baguette cut diamonds. It "looks amazing" says Jewellery Specialist, Tracey Still, who has valued the ring around the £5,000 mark.
The watch section offers up several ladies and gents Rolex watches, alongside Omega and Breitling watches. The never worn 2020 Rolex Datejust (Lot 205) with all boxes and paperwork is expected to sell well, as is the ladies (Lot 200) impressive 18ct yellow gold automatic Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust chronometer with a diamond set bezel and diamond dot champagne dial, dating from 1986.
The auction will be held at the Plymouth salerooms on Wednesday 29th June at 6:00 p.m.
These jewellery lots can be found here and watches here, and the lots can be viewed by appointment next week at the saleroom, or at the public viewing days during the week of the auction.
