Royal-Inspired Van Cleef & Arpels Jewellery Set to Go Under the Hammer
A stunning suite of jewellery by renowned French luxury house Van Cleef & Arpels, famously worn by Catherine, Princess of Wales, is set to go up for auction this month.
The collection includes a bracelet, necklace, and ring from the iconic Alhambra® range, first introduced in 1968. The Alhambra motif, emblematic of luck and timeless elegance, has become one of the most recognisable symbols in fine jewellery. The Princess of Wales has been photographed wearing similar pieces on several public occasions.
These exquisite items will be offered as three separate lots at Plymouth Auction Rooms on 24th September at 6pm, with a combined guide price of £5,000.
In the watch section, collectors will be particularly interested in a rare Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date Explorer II, often referred to as the “Steve McQueen” model. Dating back to the 1970s, this highly sought-after watch is a true collector’s gem and is estimated to fetch up to £10,000.
