An English ebonised bracket clock, signed Tho (Thomas) Taylor, in Holborne, with eight day twin fusee movement, two bell strike on hammers, floral engraved backplate, gilt basket finials, ornate cast and gilt carrying handle, 6 1/2″ dial with chapter ring with roman numerals and outer arabic numerals, date aperture at 12′ o clock,  gilt spandrels, pull cord repeat at hours and quarters, single bob pendulum. Some damaged to back of case on plinth, no fusee chain, now wire fitted, the winding holes are not inline on the dial, overall height 37cm.
