There is often a good choice of lovely diamonds rings at this popular evening jewellery auction but the quality of the diamond in lot 80 has attracted significant interest already.
The brilliant cut diamond measures just under 2.50 carats and is of a high clarity at VVS1/2 and good colour. The symmetry of the stone allows plenty of light in giving it a real sparkle of fire. It is set in 18 carat yellow gold and will fit a finger size Q, although it can be resized if needed. Fine diamonds do not appear at auction often and this one comes with a presale estimate of £15,000 when it comes up for auction on 10th January.
